Epomaker is bringing high polling rates and Hall effect technology to the budget gaming keyboard market with the launch of the HE60 V2, a 60% wireless keyboard priced at $59.99. The new model combines adjustable actuation, an 8,000Hz polling rate, and magnetic linear switches in a compact design aimed at FPS players who want more room for mouse movement without spending heavily on a gaming keyboard.
Following the recent release of the HE65 V2, the HE60 V2 adopts a 60% layout similar to the popular Wooting 60HE. Its tray-mount ABS case also borrows some design elements from Wooting’s keyboard, including a carry strap on the left edge. Epomaker has added five layers of sound-dampening materials to reduce unwanted case resonance, alongside an aluminum plate and plate-mounted stabilizers.

The HE60 V2 supports Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, and wired USB Type-C connectivity. Both 2.4GHz wireless and wired modes support polling rates of up to 8,000Hz, while a switch beneath the Caps Lock key lets users change operating modes. The keyboard also features an 8,000mAh battery, although Epomaker has not disclosed an official battery-life estimate.

Its Hall effect magnetic switches allow users to adjust actuation from 0.1mm to 3.3mm, giving players more control over how quickly keypresses register. The keyboard also supports SOCD (Simultaneous Opposing Cardinal Directions) and DKS (Dynamic Keystroke), with customization available through the browser-based Epomaker Hub.

Epomaker ships the keyboard with Creamy Jade Magnetic linear switches featuring a POM stem, a polycarbonate upper housing, and a PA66 bottom housing. The switches have a specified actuation-force range of 30gf to 55gf and use a 20mm spring. Double-shot PBT Cherry-profile keycaps with shine-through legends provide RGB backlighting, while two-stage flip-out feet offer typing angles of 6, 8, and 10.5 degrees. One of the feet also conceals a storage compartment for the 2.4GHz receiver.

Measuring 298.5 × 102 × 41.5mm, the HE60 V2 is designed for smaller desks and gaming setups where space is limited. Its claimed front height is 18.5mm. At $59.99, Epomaker is targeting buyers who want magnetic-switch customization and a high polling rate without moving into more expensive gaming keyboards. The HE60 V2 is available through Epomaker’s official online store.
