Epomaker Introduces QK108 Tri-Mode Mechanical Keyboard With Full Layout and Color Screen

Epomaker has introduced the QK108, a new full-size mechanical keyboard designed for users who prefer a complete layout with dedicated function keys, a number pad, and a range of connectivity options. This release adds another model to the company’s growing portfolio of multi-device keyboards aimed at both work and daily use. The EPOMAKER QK108 features a tri-mode setup, combining wired USB-C, wireless 2.4GHz, and Bluetooth connectivity, along with a compact color screen and multimedia knob placed in the upper-right corner for quick access to system details and audio controls.

The keyboard’s shell is made of textured ABS engineering plastic, which is paired with an internal PC positioning plate mounted using gasket pads. This structure is supported by a five-layer filling system inside the chassis. The layers include latex foam, IXPE switch pads, a PET sound-enhancing diaphragm, a bottom sponge, and a bottom silicone. Together, these materials help manage sound and reduce internal resonance. The PCB supports hot-swappable switches, allowing users to change switches without soldering, and includes RGB LEDs placed at the lower LED position for consistent lighting.

The QK108 offers two switch options: Wisteria Flower switches and Sea Salt Silent switches. The keyboard uses original-height PBT dye-sublimated keycaps, which are developed to resist fading over long-term use. The model also supports VIA key remapping, enabling layout adjustments through software.

Ergonomically, the QK108 features a front height of 20mm and a rear height of 43.1mm. Users can adjust the typing angle through three tilt levels: 6°, 8.5°, and 11.5°, allowing for a more comfortable position during extended use. These physical adjustments add to the usability of the keyboard for office tasks, gaming sessions, or general typing.

In terms of wireless performance, the keyboard offers a 3ms latency in 2.4GHz mode, 5ms in wired mode, and 15ms when connected via Bluetooth. These modes allow the keyboard to function across computers, tablets, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. The QK108 carries an 8000mAh dual-cell battery, which can deliver up to 229 hours of operation when both the screen and backlight are disabled. Battery life will vary depending on lighting and display settings, but the capacity is designed to support long intervals between charges.
