Darmoshark Launches M5 AIR V2 Ultra-Light Gaming Mouse With 30g Design and 8K Polling Support

Darmoshark has expanded its gaming peripheral lineup with the introduction of the M5 AIR V2, an Ultra-Light Gaming Mouse designed for competitive use. Positioning the device as a high-performance option for gamers who prefer minimal weight and fast response times. The design follows a finger-grip layout and focuses heavily on reducing drag during rapid movements, a feature increasingly common in modern esports-focused mice.

The M5 AIR V2 stands out primarily due to its extremely low weight of 30±2 grams. Achieving this figure, Darmoshark uses a forged carbon fiber shell with a perforated surface structure, balancing rigidity with weight reduction. The compact dimensions of 91.71mm × 57.47mm × 35.75mm further support fingertip and claw-style users who prioritize agility over palm support.

Under the shell, the mouse is built around an ENIG immersion gold composite PCB and is powered by the Nordic nRF54L15 main controller. For tracking, Darmoshark has equipped the device with the PixArt PAW3950 optical sensor, a widely recognized flagship-grade sensor known for its precision and consistent tracking performance across different DPI ranges. The primary clicks use Omron optical microswitches, while scrolling is handled by a Fosun Vicks encoder, aiming to provide a balanced feel between durability and responsiveness.

Connectivity is another major focus of the M5 AIR V2. The mouse supports tri-mode operation, allowing users to switch between wired and wireless setups depending on usage preference. In 2.4GHz mode, it is capable of reaching an 8kHz polling rate, paired with a 20,000fps high frame rate mode for reduced input delay and smoother cursor response. This places it in the growing category of ultra-high polling rate gaming mice designed for competitive FPS titles.

Powering the Darmoshark M5 AIR V2 Ultra-Light Gaming Mouse is a built-in 200mAh battery, which Darmoshark claims can deliver up to 110 hours of continuous use in 2.4GHz mode at a 1kHz polling rate. The mouse also ships with an 8K-capable digital display receiver, allowing users to take advantage of its highest performance settings without additional accessories.

With its combination of ultra-light construction, high-end sensor hardware, and advanced wireless performance, the M5 AIR V2 enters a crowded segment of esports mice but focuses on delivering speed and responsiveness in an extremely lightweight form factor.
