Cooler Master Introduces Hyper 212 and V4 Alpha Coolers with New 3DHP Technology

Cooler Master has announced three new CPU air coolers that introduce its latest 3D Heat Pipe (3DHP) technology, designed to deliver better thermal performance without increasing size or noise. The lineup includes the Hyper 212 3DHP Black, Hyper 212 3DHP Black ARGB, and the V4 Alpha 3DHP Black. These models represent Cooler Master’s continued focus on refining traditional air cooling through design improvements and material optimization.

The Hyper 212 series remains one of the most recognized names in PC cooling. With the new 3DHP upgrade, Cooler Master has redesigned the internal heat pipe structure to enhance heat transfer between the base and the fin stack. The copper base is now larger and more finely machined, allowing for better contact with the CPU surface. Both the standard and ARGB versions come pre-installed with a 120 mm Ring Blade fan that maintains a balance between high airflow and reduced noise. The ARGB model includes addressable RGB lighting, offering visual customization options for users who prefer illuminated builds.

Each Hyper 212 3DHP cooler features a matte black finish and simplified styling, matching modern system builds that prioritize clean aesthetics. Cooler Master has also focused on user-friendly installation with mounting hardware compatible with the latest Intel and AMD sockets. The overall design keeps the familiar dimensions of the Hyper 212 series, ensuring broad compatibility with mid-tower and smaller ATX cases.

Alongside the updated Hyper 212 models, Cooler Master has introduced the V4 Alpha 3DHP Black. This cooler takes a dual-fan approach for higher heat dissipation and consistent airflow. Its design draws inspiration from V-shaped automotive engines, giving it a compact yet functional profile. The 3DHP system in the V4 Alpha uses hybrid sintered and grooved heat pipes to minimize thermal resistance and eliminate dead zones within the cooler’s structure. This results in more efficient heat movement and stable cooling during heavy workloads or gaming sessions.

The V4 Alpha 3DHP Black includes two pre-installed Mobius 120 mm Ring Blade fans configured for push-pull airflow, ensuring that heat is quickly removed from the fin array. Cooler Master also includes its CRYOFUZE thermal paste for optimal contact and long-term reliability. With its solid copper base and improved internal layout, the V4 Alpha aims to provide consistent thermal performance across a range of modern processors.

All three coolers in the new series emphasize a combination of effective cooling, reduced noise, and installation flexibility. The introduction of 3DHP technology marks another step in Cooler Master’s efforts to advance air cooling efficiency without relying on liquid cooling systems. Pricing and release dates for the Hyper 212 3DHP and V4 Alpha 3DHP models have not yet been announced, but they are expected to be available globally in the coming months.
