COLORFUL Technology has expanded its notebook lineup with the launch of the COLORFUL Rimbook L1 Plus, a new lightweight laptop built for productivity, content creation, and everyday computing. Powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 7735HS processor, the notebook combines modern hardware with a slim metal design, a high-resolution display, and storage expansion options. The new model is now available in China with an MSRP of 5,999 RMB (around $835 USD).
The COLORFUL Rimbook L1 Plus is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS, featuring 8 cores, 16 threads, and boost clock speeds of up to 4.75GHz. The processor is paired with integrated AMD Radeon 680M graphics, 16GB LPDDR5-6400 memory, and a 512GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. This hardware combination is designed to handle office workloads, web browsing, multitasking, creative applications, and entertainment without requiring a dedicated graphics card.
The Rimbook L1 Plus offers flexible storage options for users who need extra space. Alongside the pre-installed SSD, it features dual PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 SSD slots, making it easy to expand storage for larger files, games, applications, and future upgrades.
The laptop weighs just 1.4kg and measures 16.65mm thick, making it suitable for users who frequently travel between work, school, or meetings. COLORFUL has used a matte metal top cover that gives the notebook a clean appearance while keeping the chassis lightweight.
The Rimbook L1 Plus features a 16-inch IPS display with a 2560 × 1600 (2.5K) resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, offering additional vertical screen space for productivity tasks. Slim 4mm side bezels and 3mm top bezels help deliver a 92.52% screen-to-body ratio, maximizing the display area without increasing the overall footprint.
