COLORFIRE, Colorful’s sub-brand known for its cat-inspired “MEOW” aesthetic, continues to expand its product presence beyond graphics cards and PC cases. The company has steadily introduced themed motherboards and peripherals over the past few years, earning attention for its playful design language. This direction was on display at Computex 2025, where TechPowerUp staff examined various items showcased at Colorful’s booth. The brand’s appearance in Las Vegas highlighted a growing intention to move into wider markets outside its home region.
A recent report from VideoCardz points to international plans for the COLORFIRE B850M-MEOW WIFI V14 motherboard. The model was first launched in China around two months earlier at an initial price of approximately $120. Retail listings later rose to roughly $134, reflecting early demand and limited stock. With the board already circulating domestically, signs now suggest that COLORFIRE is preparing the product for a broader release.

The V14 is positioned as a successor to the earlier B850M MEOW WIFI Orange version. While the older model embraced a more expressive style—featuring large mascot prints, multiple text elements, and dense decorative patterns—the new revision adopts a cleaner, more muted theme. The V14 is primarily white with light paw-print accents and small MEOW logos placed around the PCB. This approach maintains the brand identity while offering a look that may be more suitable for wider audiences, particularly builders who want themed hardware without an overly busy layout.
Beyond visual changes, the V14 introduces a series of hardware improvements. One of the key updates is its upgraded 10+2+1 power phase design, replacing the 7+2+1 configuration of the previous generation. This enhancement provides more headroom for modern processors, helping ensure stable operation under heavier workloads.
Memory support has been expanded as well. Users now have access to four DDR5 DIMM slots, offering greater flexibility for capacity and performance tuning. This aligns the board closer to current mainstream expectations for mid-range Micro-ATX platforms.

COLORFIRE has also adjusted the rear I/O layout to include a broader selection of ports, adding convenience for peripherals, storage devices, and display outputs. The inclusion of Wi-Fi 7 marks another notable step forward, giving builders the option to adopt faster wireless networking as the standard continues to roll out across routers and service providers.
The combination of revised aesthetics, improved specifications, and next-generation connectivity positions the B850M-MEOW WIFI V14 as one of COLORFIRE’s more globally approachable products. While the company has not yet issued an official announcement detailing full regional availability, the growing evidence indicates that an international release is underway or approaching.
As COLORFIRE continues to push into new markets, the V14 motherboard may serve as one of the brand’s key introductions to PC builders outside Asia—balancing playful styling with modern hardware features aimed at gaming and everyday computing builds.
