CHERRY has introduced a new Macaron color variant for its XTRFY MX 8.3 PRO mechanical keyboard, adding a blue and gray design option to the company’s premium gaming keyboard lineup. The new version keeps the same hardware specifications as the original model, including a compact 80% layout, aluminum construction, high polling rate connectivity, and a large-capacity battery designed for long wireless use.
The CHERRY XTRFY MX 8.3 PRO is built around an 84-key 80% layout, offering a smaller footprint compared with full-size keyboards while keeping important navigation keys. The compact design gives gamers more space for mouse movement and fits better on smaller desks.
The keyboard features a CNC-machined aluminum body that provides a strong frame, along with an integrated rotating stand for adjusting the typing angle. It also includes a multi-function knob and a built-in full-color LCD control screen, allowing users to manage settings and access keyboard information directly from the device.

Key features of the CHERRY XTRFY MX 8.3 PRO include:
- New Macaron color scheme with blue and gray key elements.
- 84-key 80% compact layout for gaming and productivity setups.

Inside the keyboard, CHERRY uses a gasket-mounted structure combined with multiple layers of damping material to improve typing comfort and reduce unwanted vibration. The FR4 positioning plate and flexible internal design are aimed at providing a balanced typing experience for both gaming and everyday use.
The PCB supports full-key hot-swapping, allowing users to change switches without soldering. The included CHERRY MX Lumina Red switches offer a smooth linear feel, while the PBT double-shot keycaps are designed to maintain their legends over long periods of use.
With the new Macaron color option, CHERRY is giving users another design choice without changing the performance-focused features of the MX 8.3 PRO. The keyboard combines wireless connectivity, high polling rates, customizable hardware, and long battery life for gamers and mechanical keyboard enthusiasts looking for a compact, premium setup.
