CHERRY has announced the release date of its new XTRFY MX 10.1 Wireless mechanical gaming keyboard, set to launch worldwide on September 25, 2025, at a retail price of 199 EUR / 249 USD. First introduced during CES 2025, the keyboard combines a slim aluminium design with modern performance features aimed at competitive gaming and everyday use.

The MX 10.1 Wireless is equipped with CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE 2.0 switches, designed for a smoother actuation and extended durability. Each switch is factory-lubricated for improved acoustics and consistent key feel, rated to last over 100 million keystrokes. The keyboard also comes fitted with PBT keycaps and retains a full-size 100% layout, offering both portability and functionality in a compact build.

The keyboard delivers a polling rate of 4,000 Hz in wireless mode and up to 8,000 Hz when connected via cable, ensuring faster keystroke reporting during gaming sessions. This level of responsiveness caters to competitive players who require precise input recognition.
In terms of connectivity, the MX 10.1 Wireless provides three different options: 2.4 GHz wireless via USB dongle, Bluetooth pairing with up to three devices, and wired USB-C. The inclusion of a rotary knob and an integrated LCD display allows users to switch between devices, monitor battery levels, configure lighting, and adjust performance settings directly on the keyboard without relying solely on software.

Additional features include per-key RGB customization, N-Key rollover, and anti-ghosting to maintain input accuracy during fast gameplay. Power is supplied by a 4,000 mAh battery, capable of lasting up to 900 hours on Bluetooth or around 50 hours on 2.4 GHz wireless at maximum polling rates, depending on lighting and display usage.

Joakim Jansson, Head of Product & Portfolio at CHERRY, stated that the MX 10.1 Wireless is designed to provide “speed, premium typing feel, and solid aluminium construction,” noting that its display and rotary knob aim to enhance convenience for both gamers and professionals.
The CHERRY XTRFY MX 10.1 Wireless will be available worldwide beginning September 25, marking CHERRY’s latest addition to its expanding gaming and professional keyboard lineup.
