CHERRY XTRFY has entered the high-speed magnetic gaming keyboard market with the new PIXIU68, bringing a 65% layout together with a 16kHz polling rate, 256kHz channel scan rate, and Rapid Trigger accuracy of up to 0.001mm. The company is also claiming key latency as low as 0.06ms, putting the keyboard firmly toward the performance-focused end of the gaming market.
The PIXIU68 is built around CHERRY XTRFY’s Conflux-Link magnetic axis solution. It uses a dual-core main controller and a 5-pin Hall effect sensor to detect key movement. The magnetic switch design allows the keyboard to monitor key position continuously, while the Rapid Trigger system is designed for fast activation and release during gaming.
Under the keycaps, the PIXIU68 uses a 1.6mm four-layer PCB with an aluminum PCB construction and four layers of damping material. The keyboard supports full-key hot-swapping, giving users the option to replace compatible switches without changing the entire keyboard. ARGB lighting is also integrated into the lower LED position for additional illumination.
CHERRY XTRFY ships the keyboard with MK Ascent magnetic switches and PC backlit keycaps. The compact 65% layout keeps the main gaming controls while leaving out the dedicated function row and number pad, making the PIXIU68 more suitable for smaller desk setups.
The exterior uses 180-mesh anodized aluminum and has several design elements aimed at matching the keyboard’s gaming theme. These include an ergonomic front shovel, a through-type crystal light strip, mecha-style side wing decorations, a combat-themed nameplate, and X-shaped indicator lights.
The CHERRY XTRFY PIXIU68 is available in Star Blue Diamond and Cherry Pink Diamond color options. Its combination of Hall effect magnetic switches, high polling and scanning rates, adjustable Rapid Trigger functionality, and compact 65% design makes it a new option for gamers focused on fast keyboard input.
