Bethesda Confirms Indiana Jones, Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, and Oblivion Remastered for Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo and Bethesda used today’s Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase to confirm that three major titles are coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered are all scheduled to launch on the hybrid console over the course of the year.

The announcement was delivered during the broadcast by Bethesda Game Studios director Todd Howard. The news expands Bethesda’s support for Nintendo’s latest system, bringing several previously released titles to a new audience on Switch 2.

Two of the three announcements were reported ahead of the event. Earlier in the day, industry source Billbil-kun shared details indicating that Indiana Jones and Fallout 4 were planned for Nintendo Switch 2. The official confirmation during the showcase aligned with those reports.

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition will be the first of the three titles to arrive on Nintendo Switch 2. Bethesda confirmed a release date of February 24, 2026. The Anniversary Edition includes the base game along with post-launch content and updates released since its original debut.

The release marks the first time Fallout 4 will be playable on Nintendo hardware in an updated format. Bethesda did not share detailed information about performance targets or graphical settings during the broadcast, but the version is being prepared specifically for Switch 2.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on May 12, 2026. The action-adventure title, which follows an original story set in the Indiana Jones universe, expands its platform availability with this release.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will follow later in 2026. While an exact date was not announced, Bethesda confirmed a release window of “later this year.” The remastered edition updates the 2006 role-playing game with revised visuals and technical improvements designed for current-generation systems.

With these additions, Bethesda’s catalog on Nintendo Switch 2 continues to grow. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is already available on the platform, and the upcoming releases add both action-adventure and open-world RPG titles to the system’s library.

DOOM: The Dark Ages was not included in the showcase, and Bethesda has yet to confirm whether the game will be released on Nintendo Switch 2.

Beyond Bethesda’s announcements, the Partner Showcase also included a confirmed release date for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on Switch 2. Nintendo has published a full recap of the event, detailing all confirmed games and updates revealed during the presentation.

More information about performance details and pre-order availability for Bethesda’s upcoming Switch 2 releases is expected closer to launch.
