Beelink Introduces a New Variant of the SER9 Pro Mini PC with Ryzen 9 365 APU

January 22, 2025

Beelink continues to expand its SER9 Pro lineup, introducing a new variant of the mini PC powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 365 APU. This follows the earlier release of the SER9 Pro equipped with the Ryzen 9 HX 370 APU, which garnered attention for its compact design, efficient performance, and powerful Radeon 890M integrated GPU. The new version aims to provide a more affordable alternative while maintaining the versatility and functionality the series is known for.

The Ryzen 9 365 APU brings several notable changes compared to the HX 370 model. Both chips feature four high-performance Zen 5 cores, but the Ryzen 9 365 includes six energy-efficient Zen 5c cores, compared to the HX 370’s eight. The boost clock on the Ryzen 9 365 is reduced by 100 MHz, and the integrated GPU is a Radeon 880M, offering fewer shaders and reduced overall performance compared to the 890M found in the higher-end model.

In terms of thermal design, the Ryzen 9 HX 370 variant is configured with a 65W TDP. However, Beelink has yet to confirm the TDP for the Ryzen 9 365 version. Benchmarks indicate that the Ryzen 9 365 model delivers approximately 20% lower CPU performance and 10% reduced GPU performance compared to its HX 370 counterpart, reflecting its slightly scaled-back specifications.

One surprising upgrade in the new SER9 Pro variant is its faster LPDDR5X memory, running at 8000 MHz compared to the 7500 MHz in the HX 370 version. This improvement may help offset some performance differences, particularly in memory-intensive workloads. The storage capabilities remain consistent across the two variants, with dual M.2 2280 slots supporting up to 8 TB of SSD storage.

The SER9 Pro with the Ryzen 9 365 APU retains the same comprehensive port selection as its predecessor, including HDMI, DisplayPort, USB4, and 2.5G LAN ports. This ensures compatibility with a wide range of peripherals and external displays. The device will also be available in four color options, providing some degree of personalization for users.

While Beelink has not disclosed the official pricing for the new variant, it is expected to be more budget-friendly than the Ryzen 9 HX 370 model, which starts at $999 in the United States. The company has yet to update its international website with the new configuration, and details regarding availability are still under wraps.

With this new addition to the SER9 Pro lineup, Beelink is providing consumers with a broader range of options to meet varying performance and budget requirements. The Ryzen 9 365 variant strikes a balance between performance and affordability, making it a compelling choice for users seeking a powerful yet compact mini PC. As more details emerge, this model could become an attractive option for both home and professional setups.
