AULA is preparing to add another feature-packed mechanical keyboard to its lineup, and the upcoming F87S series is targeting users who want high-speed wireless performance without moving to a full-size board. The new keyboard combines an 80% TKL layout with native 8,000Hz polling support, tri-mode connectivity, hot-swappable switches, RGB lighting, and a claimed battery life of up to 10,000 hours.

The AULA F87S uses a compact TKL layout that keeps the function row and navigation keys while dropping the number pad. A multi-functional aluminum alloy knob sits on the lower-right side of the keyboard, giving users another way to control supported functions while also becoming part of the keyboard’s lighting system.
Performance is one of the bigger talking points here. The F87S supports an 8,000Hz polling rate through both its USB-C wired connection and 2.4GHz wireless mode. Bluetooth connectivity is also included, giving the keyboard tri-mode support for users who regularly switch between gaming PCs, laptops, tablets, and other devices.

Battery capacity is equally ambitious. AULA has equipped the F87S with two 5,000mAh battery modules, bringing the total capacity to 10,000mAh. The company claims battery life can reach up to 10,000 hours, although real-world results will naturally vary depending on RGB usage, polling rate, connection mode, and general usage.

The keyboard also supports advanced button functions, including SOCD, MT, TGL, and CB, providing additional input customization for gaming and other tasks. Full hot-swappable support means compatible mechanical switches can be replaced without soldering, and AULA will offer the F87S with multiple switch options.

Inside, the F87S uses a Gasket-mounted structure paired with a horizontally slotted PC positioning plate and five layers of damping material. This design is intended to improve key feel while reducing vibration and unwanted internal noise during typing and gaming.

AULA has also added several lighting elements beyond standard key illumination. The keyboard uses lower-positioned soft ARGB lighting, while the aluminum knob is surrounded by a star-ring flowing light strip. Side wing light strips add further illumination around the chassis.

For buyers looking for a compact gaming keyboard with wired and wireless flexibility, the AULA F87S brings together several features currently popular in the enthusiast keyboard market. The combination of 8K polling in both wired and 2.4GHz modes, a large battery capacity, hot-swappable switches, gasket mounting, and expanded RGB lighting could make it an interesting option once AULA reveals pricing and availability.
