ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMTG Monitor Launches With Google TV, 34-Inch 240Hz QD-OLED Panel

ASUS has expanded its OLED gaming monitor lineup with the ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMTG, a new 34-inch ultrawide display that adds built-in Google TV support. The model follows the Strix OLED XG34WCDMS announced earlier at CES, but this version introduces smart TV functionality as part of the package. Retail listings suggest the Google TV variant is already available in the US market.

The “TG” in the product name points to its Google TV integration. The monitor runs Google TV based on Android 14 and includes access to streaming apps directly from the display. ASUS bundles a remote control and supports voice commands, along with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and wireless screen projection. NVIDIA GeForce NOW also comes pre-installed, allowing users to stream games without a connected PC or console, although most buyers in this segment are expected to pair the monitor with dedicated gaming hardware.

The XG34WCDMTG features a 34-inch RGB QD-OLED panel with a 3440 x 1440 resolution and an 1800R curve. The ultrawide format targets immersive gaming and productivity use. The panel offers a typical brightness of 250 nits and can reach up to 1000 nits in HDR mode. ASUS lists a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and a 0.03 ms grey-to-grey response time, placing it among the faster OLED gaming displays currently available.

Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports with FRL support, one DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and up to 90W USB Power Delivery. The monitor also provides two USB 2.0 ports and a headphone jack. The stand supports tilt, swivel, and height adjustments for flexible desk placement.

The ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMTG is currently listed on Amazon in the United States for $1,199. Reports indicate this price is approximately $200 higher than the non-Google TV XG34WCDMS variant. With this release, ASUS is combining high-refresh QD-OLED gaming performance with built-in smart TV capabilities in a single ultrawide display.
