ASUS has officially announced the availability of the new ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM and ROG Swift OLED PG32UCWM, expanding its premium gaming monitor lineup with two models designed for gamers who want both high-resolution visuals and fast refresh rates. The new displays feature True Tandem RGB OLED panels, support Dual Mode operation with 4K at 240Hz or Full HD at 480Hz, and include modern connectivity options such as DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 and USB-C with Power Delivery.
The new monitors are available in 26.5-inch and 31.5-inch sizes and use a True RGB Stripe OLED panel instead of the traditional WOLED design. ASUS says removing the white subpixel helps improve text clarity and color accuracy while also delivering up to 27% more color volume, even at higher brightness levels. The company has also applied its TrueBlack Glossy coating to improve image quality and preserve deep black levels that OLED displays are known for.
The Dual Mode function lets users switch between 4K resolution at 240Hz for detailed gaming and content creation or Full HD at 480Hz for competitive esports titles where higher refresh rates are preferred. Combined with a 0.03ms response time, the monitors are designed to reduce motion blur and ghosting during fast-paced gameplay.
ASUS has also focused on improving OLED durability by introducing a new GaNFET-based power design. According to the company, the updated design reduces waste heat by nearly 35% and lowers vent temperatures by around 10% compared to previous OLED monitor designs, helping extend the lifespan of the panel.
The updated OLED Care Pro suite includes a Neo Proximity Sensor that can detect when the user leaves the desk. Users can choose from five motion sensitivity levels and configure an Auto Away timer between one and fifteen minutes. Once activated, the monitor automatically switches to a protective screen to help reduce the risk of image retention. All protection features can be managed through the ASUS DisplayWidget Center software.
For HDR gaming and professional content creation, both monitors support Dolby Vision, VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black, 99% DCI-P3 color coverage, true 10-bit color, and Delta E below 2 factory calibration for accurate color reproduction.
ASUS is also adding AI-assisted monitor management through Display Control CLI and Agent Skill, allowing compatible AI assistants to adjust monitor settings using natural language. Users can quickly switch between work, gaming, and evening viewing profiles without manually changing multiple settings.
Connectivity is built for modern gaming systems and laptops, offering DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 with up to 80Gbps bandwidth, HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-C with 90W Power Delivery for video, data, and charging through a single cable.
