Ajazz has launched the AK039 magnetic switch one-handed gaming keyboard, a compact keypad designed for gamers who want more space on their desk while keeping fast and accurate controls. The One-Handed Gaming Keyboard comes with a 38-key layout and is designed as a secondary gaming keyboard that can be used alongside a regular keyboard, especially for competitive games where wider mouse movement is important.
The smaller layout helps reduce desk clutter compared to a full-size keyboard while providing dedicated gaming controls. With fewer keys and a compact design, the Ajazz AK039 gives players more room for mouse movement and allows them to position their keyboard at a more comfortable angle during gameplay.
The AK039 uses magnetic switches based on Hall effect technology, offering adjustable key travel and actuation settings. Ajazz has developed its own reinforced switch system and control algorithms to improve input accuracy and stability. The keyboard supports 0.01mm precision detection, allowing users to fine-tune key response based on their preferences.
The keyboard features several technologies designed to improve consistency during long gaming sessions, including temperature drift control and noise filtering. The temperature compensation system can adjust for changes between -10°C and 70°C, helping maintain stable performance in different environments.
According to Ajazz, the AK039 provides a response latency of 0.08ms, a full-key scanning rate of 128K, and an 8KHz polling rate. These specifications are aimed at reducing input delay compared to traditional mechanical keyboards with standard 1KHz polling rates.
The keyboard also includes several gaming-focused features that can be customized through its software:

- SOCD functionality for advanced movement control.
- DKS, MT, and TGL settings for custom key behavior.
- Macro support for assigning multiple actions.

Ajazz has equipped the AK039 with a web-based driver that allows users to configure the keyboard without installing traditional software. By holding FN + Z for five seconds, users can access settings for key assignments, lighting effects, and keyboard layouts. The driver also supports adaptive dynamic calibration, which automatically adjusts switch compensation parameters during use to improve accuracy.
The keyboard includes RGB backlighting with around 16 million colors and 20 lighting effects. Users can switch between lighting modes, adjust brightness, and enable music-based lighting effects using shortcut controls.
The Ajazz AK039 also includes an independent metal volume knob positioned on the upper-left side. It can be rotated to adjust the volume, while pressing it functions as an ESC key shortcut, giving users quick access to basic controls directly from the keyboard.
Ajazz offers multiple keycap choices for the AK039, including PC dye-sublimation keycaps, Apple-style keycaps, cat-head designs, and PBT dual-color keycaps. The keyboard is available in four color options, including black and yellow, white and blue, black and pink, and an Apple-inspired version.
