Acer Swift Edge 14 Goes Global With 120Hz OLED, Intel Panther Lake, and Up to 32GB RAM

Acer is bringing its latest ultra-light laptop to more international markets, and the Swift Edge 14 is targeting buyers who want a premium OLED display and new Intel hardware without carrying around a heavy machine. Weighing just 990 grams, the new 14-inch laptop combines Intel’s Panther Lake processors with a 120Hz OLED panel, up to 32GB of RAM, and as much as 1TB of SSD storage.

The Acer Swift Edge 14 was previously announced as part of the company’s 2026 laptop lineup, but the model is now appearing at retailers across several regions, including Germany, Czechia, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and the UAE. Availability and configurations vary depending on the market, with some countries receiving entry-level models while others have access to higher-spec versions.

For buyers looking at premium ultraportables, the 990g weight is likely to be one of the biggest selling points. Acer has paired the lightweight chassis with a 14-inch OLED display offering a 2880 x 1800 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated for up to 500 nits of peak brightness, giving the laptop a combination of high resolution and smoother motion than the standard 60Hz screens still found on many thin-and-light notebooks.

The Swift Edge 14 is powered by Intel’s new Panther Lake platform, with currently available configurations including the Core Ultra 5 325 and Core Ultra 7 355. Acer also previously announced a Core Ultra 9 386H option, although this version does not appear to be available in the first group of international listings.

Memory options go up to 32GB, while storage reaches 1TB. The higher-end configuration pairs the Core Ultra 7 355 processor with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, making it better suited for users who regularly work with multiple applications, large files, or demanding productivity software.

The laptop also includes a 65Wh battery, which is a reasonable capacity considering the Swift Edge 14’s sub-1kg design. Actual battery life will depend on the display brightness, refresh rate, processor workload, and power settings, so independent testing will be needed to see how the new Panther Lake hardware performs in daily use.

Acer Swift Edge 14 pricing differs significantly between markets. A Core Ultra 7 355 configuration with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD is listed for around €1,439 in parts of Europe. Meanwhile, markets such as Hong Kong and Singapore have received Core Ultra 5 325 versions with 16GB of memory, while Malaysia and Singapore also offer higher-end Core Ultra 7 models with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The Acer Swift Edge 14 enters a competitive premium laptop market where portability, OLED displays, and AI-focused processors are becoming increasingly common. However, its combination of a 990g chassis, 120Hz OLED display, Intel Panther Lake hardware, and up to 32GB of RAM gives Acer a strong specification sheet for users who want a highly portable Windows laptop without compromising on memory or display quality.
