Mchose Launches R9 Wireless Gaming Headset With EDG Valorant Audio Tuning for $69

Mchose has launched its R9 wireless gaming headset, offering 53mm composite drivers, dual wireless connectivity, and up to 150 hours of battery life for $69. The Gaming Headset is available for pre-order at a discounted price of $49, with regular sales and shipping expected to begin around October 29.

The Mchose R9 weighs 235 grams and features a floating headband with a steel frame and leatherette padding. Its adjustable design includes a sliding headband mechanism, 18 degrees of vertical pivot, and 90 degrees of swivel on the earcups. These features are intended to provide a more comfortable fit during extended gaming sessions.

The headset supports Bluetooth 5.4 and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity, along with a USB Type-C connection for wired listening while charging. Mchose has equipped the R9 with 53mm composite drivers and onboard memory that stores three customizable sound profiles. Users can adjust the equalizer through the company’s PC or mobile application.

Mchose also worked with the EDG Valorant esports team to tune the headset’s default sound profile for gaming. The company says the tuning focuses on in-game audio cues, including footsteps and gunfire. A detachable 360-degree microphone with AI noise reduction is included for voice chat and team communication.

Power comes from a 1,050mAh battery rated for up to 150 hours of use. Mchose has not specified which wireless mode or testing conditions were used to achieve that figure. The 2.4GHz connection is also advertised with latency as low as 15 milliseconds, although the company has not detailed the measurement methodology.

The Mchose R9 is compatible with PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and smartphones. Its audio specifications include a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz, 32-ohm impedance, and a sensitivity rating of 115 ±3dB. The headset costs $49 during the pre-order period, before returning to its regular $69 price when general sales begin around October 29.
