Razer could be preparing new versions of its Viper V4 Pro and DeathAdder V4 Pro gaming mice, with leaked images revealing carbon fiber designs and a purple Viper variant. The images were shared on X by @jakeufps and @kazeslvt, suggesting that Razer may have more flagship gaming mice in development following the recent releases of the Viper V4 Pro and DeathAdder V4 Pro.
According to the leaks, at least three models are in the works: carbon fiber editions of both mice and a purple version of the Viper V4 Pro. The carbon fiber models could bring hardware changes alongside their revised exterior finishes, with the DeathAdder V4 Pro reportedly receiving an updated optical sensor and longer battery life.
The leaked information claims that the carbon fiber DeathAdder V4 Pro will use Razer’s Focus Pro 50K Gen-3 sensor, the same sensor featured in the Viper V4 Pro. If accurate, this would bring the two wireless gaming mice closer in terms of sensor hardware. However, Razer has not confirmed the reported specifications, so these details should be treated as leaks rather than official product information.
Weight is another reported change. The carbon fiber Viper V4 Pro is said to weigh 47 grams, compared with 49 grams for the existing model. The carbon fiber DeathAdder V4 Pro could weigh around 49 grams, reportedly making it 7 grams lighter than the current version. Lower weight can benefit competitive players who prefer quick movements and frequent repositioning during fast-paced games.
Pricing could place these models firmly in the premium gaming mouse category. Reports indicate that the carbon fiber Viper V4 Pro and DeathAdder V4 Pro have appeared in overseas markets, potentially in China and other parts of Asia, at prices equivalent to roughly $300. An international launch is possible, but Razer has not confirmed pricing, release dates, or regional availability.
Less information is available about the purple Viper V4 Pro. It could be a special edition or a collaboration with an esports player, although neither possibility has been confirmed. Until Razer makes an official announcement, the reported designs, specifications, and pricing remain unverified.
