Devolo has announced the BE9300 Wi-Fi 7 Wireless Router, a new networking device designed to deliver high-speed wireless connectivity in residential environments. The Router features an internal antenna design that allows it to blend into different home setups without the need for external antennas.
The Devolo WiFi 7 BE9300 supports three frequency bands: 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz. It uses a 2T2R configuration across all three bands, with theoretical wireless speeds of up to 688Mbps on 2.4GHz, 2,882Mbps on 5GHz, and 5,765Mbps on 6GHz. Combined, these figures provide a maximum advertised wireless throughput of approximately 9.3Gbps.

The 6GHz band offers the highest theoretical speed, while the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands provide additional capacity for devices with different wireless requirements. Actual performance will depend on factors such as client device compatibility, network congestion, signal strength, and the layout of the home.
For wired connectivity, the BE9300 includes one 2.5GbE RJ-45 port that can function as a WAN or LAN connection, alongside three 1GbE RJ-45 LAN ports. The faster port provides additional bandwidth for a compatible internet connection or wired device, although the three remaining LAN ports are limited to gigabit speeds.
The router also supports mesh networking, allowing compatible devices to work together to extend wireless coverage across a home. Its software features include a firewall, blacklist-based traffic control, and guest Wi-Fi, giving users options for managing network access and separating visitors from their main network.

Devolo plans to add further software features through future updates, including Wi-Fi time control, parental controls, and whitelisting. These additions are intended to provide more control over when devices can access the network and which devices are permitted to connect.
The Devolo WiFi 7 BE9300 is priced at €249.90 for a single unit. Customers who need broader coverage can also choose a two-unit set priced at €479.90 or a three-unit set costing €699.90. These multi-unit options are aimed at households looking to build a mesh network rather than rely on a single router.
With tri-band Wi-Fi 7 support, a 2.5GbE port, and mesh networking capabilities, the BE9300 combines modern wireless connectivity with a design intended for home use. Its real-world value will depend on coverage requirements, compatible devices, and how effectively its mesh features perform in larger residential spaces.
