RAPOO has officially launched its new VT2 and VT2s MAX Master Edition V2 gaming mice, targeting competitive gamers with 8KHz polling, optical switches, a PixArt PAW3955 sensor, and up to 450 hours of battery life.
The two models share the same core hardware but are built for different hand sizes. The VT2 MAX Master Edition V2 measures 126 × 63 × 40mm and weighs approximately 55 ± 2g. It uses a high-back shape designed for medium to large hands and supports different grip styles. The smaller VT2s MAX Master Edition V2 measures 119 × 62 × 39mm and weighs around 52 ± 2g, with RAPOO positioning it for small to medium hands and claw or fingertip grips.
Both mice use the Nordic nRF54H20 high-performance SoC on the mouse and receiver sides. RAPOO claims a wired button response time of up to 0.125ms, while wireless operation reaches up to 0.221ms. The mice also use a PixArt PAW3955 sensor, custom-tuned 120M optical button microswitches, and a 2M optical scroll encoder.
For high-refresh-rate gaming, the VT2 and VT2s MAX Master Edition V2 support an 8KHz polling rate and 8KHz scan rate. RAPOO also lists a frame rate of at least 20,000 fps. These specifications are aimed at reducing input latency and providing more frequent updates between the mouse and PC.
Battery capacity is another key part of the new models. Each mouse has an 800mAh lithium battery with a claimed battery life of up to 450 hours. RAPOO says a one-minute charge can provide around four hours of use, which can help reduce downtime during longer gaming sessions.
