Alienware is taking two very different approaches to OLED gaming monitors with its latest displays. The company has introduced the AW3226Q, a 32-inch 4K Tandem OLED monitor aimed at gamers who want higher image quality, and the AW2527HX, a 24.5-inch QD-OLED display designed around a 560Hz refresh rate for competitive gaming. Both monitors are being presented as part of Alienware’s latest gaming display lineup, with the two models targeting different types of PC gamers.



The AW3226Q is the more conventional choice for users who want a large OLED display for both gaming and everyday PC use. It features a 32-inch panel with a 3840 × 2160 resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, while its RGB Stripe Tandem OLED design uses a four-stack panel structure. Alienware says the technology can deliver up to 1,000 nits peak brightness, while the RGB Stripe layout also addresses text clarity concerns that have affected some OLED monitors. The display has a 0.03ms response time and supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync, along with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and Dolby Vision.
Alienware is also including a USB-C/USB-A hub, giving the AW3226Q some flexibility beyond gaming. The monitor is scheduled to launch globally in fall 2026 for $699.99, which puts it into an increasingly competitive segment of the 4K OLED monitor market.

The AW2527HX goes in the opposite direction. Its 24.5-inch QD-OLED panel runs at 560Hz with a 1920 × 1080 resolution, making it much more focused on competitive titles where high frame rates and motion clarity matter more than pixel density. Alienware developed the monitor with Team Liquid, and the display includes several features aimed at esports setups. It uses DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR13.5, supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600, and has a matte anti-glare finish. Peak brightness is rated at up to 1,500 nits.
The monitor also uses a graphene-based heat-spreading layer and a pixel-level protection algorithm to help reduce the risk of OLED burn-in. Alienware has added a headset hanger, a smaller stand base that leaves more room for a keyboard, and a dedicated button for switching between 4:3 and 3:2 display modes. The AW2527HX is expected to arrive in Q1 2027, although Alienware has not announced its price yet.
The two displays show how Alienware is approaching the OLED market from opposite ends: the AW3226Q puts 4K resolution and image quality first, while the AW2527HX is built for players who want a 560Hz refresh rate. Both monitors will also include a three-year OLED burn-in warranty, giving buyers additional coverage for long-term panel use.
