Design and Build
The UGREEN Nexode Air 65W GaN charger is built around a simple idea: keep the charger small without giving up laptop-level power. Its square body measures just 36 × 32 × 30 mm, excluding the fixed European plug, and weighs 75 grams. That makes it noticeably easier to carry than a typical laptop charger, especially when traveling or moving between a desk and a bag.
The front has a single USB-C port, with “65W Nexode Air” printed underneath. There are no extra ports, buttons, or displays, so the layout stays clean. The silver-gray front panel contrasts with the darker body, while the rounded edges make the charger comfortable to grip when plugging it into a wall socket.
Around the middle, UGREEN has added a band of fine ridges that gives the charger a better grip and breaks up the otherwise smooth exterior. The rear uses a fixed two-pin European plug, keeping the power connection integrated into the small body. Since the plug is not detachable, there is no separate power cable to pack.

The cable supports up to 100W charging and 480Mbps data transfer, so it has more power capacity than the Nexode Air requires. The braided finish and solid USB-C connectors also make it a practical cable for regular charging and basic data transfers.
Testing and Performance
The UGREEN Nexode Air 65W GaN charger came very close to its rated output in my load testing. Using a USB-C power meter and electronic load, I measured 64.99W at 19.11V and 3.40A. The charger also reported USB PD 3.0, PPS, and QC 4+ support, with the USB-C port advertising a 20V/3.25A profile.
Under another sustained load, the Nexode Air delivered 63.93W at 19.46V and 3.28A. The output stayed stable throughout the test, with no major voltage drops visible on the meter. For a charger this small, getting within a watt of the advertised 65W output is a solid result.
Temperature was also checked during the full-load test. The thermal camera recorded around 54.6°C to 56.2°C on the charger body, depending on the test position. It gets warm when pushed close to 65W for an extended period, but the temperature remained controlled during the test.
In practical use, the Nexode Air delivers the power it promises while keeping USB-C PD and PPS support for modern devices. Its single-port design limits simultaneous charging, but if the goal is to power one laptop, phone, tablet, or handheld at up to 65W, the charging performance is right where it needs to be.
