HKC Showcases World’s First 27-Inch 5K RGB Mini LED Monitor and 1300Hz Tri-Mode Gaming Display at ChinaJoy 2026

HKC introduced several new display technologies during ChinaJoy 2026, including what it describes as the world’s first 27-inch 5K RGB Mini LED display panel. The company also demonstrated a tri-mode gaming display capable of reaching up to 1300Hz, alongside an 8K glasses-free 3D display, a 116-inch QD Mini LED TV, and the new HKC Apex 27U160D UHD Mini LED monitor.

The latest products show HKC expanding its display lineup for both professional creators and competitive gamers by combining higher resolutions, Mini LED technology, and ultra-high refresh rates.

The new 27-inch display is built around an oxide backplane and uses RGB Mini LED technology. According to HKC, the panel features 1,792 local dimming zones, allowing more precise control over brightness and contrast across the screen.

The display also offers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, making it suitable for content creators working with photography, video editing, digital art, and other color-sensitive workloads.

Unlike gaming-focused monitors, this panel features a 90Hz refresh rate, providing smoother desktop performance while keeping the focus on image quality and color accuracy.

HKC also showcased a new 27-inch gaming display that uses an HMO (High Mobility Oxide) backplane. Instead of operating at a single resolution and refresh rate, the monitor supports three display modes.

Users can choose between:

  • QHD (2560 × 1440) at 650Hz
  • Full HD (1920 × 1080) at 840Hz
  • HD resolution at 1300Hz

This design allows gamers to select the mode that best matches their preferred games. Competitive esports players can use the highest refresh rates, while higher resolutions remain available for games where image quality is a higher priority.

Alongside its gaming and professional displays, HKC also presented a 36.5-inch 8K glasses-free 3D display. The screen is designed to provide a stereoscopic viewing experience without requiring dedicated 3D glasses.

The company also displayed a 116-inch QD Mini LED TV, highlighting its work in premium large-format display technology for home entertainment and commercial applications.

HKC’s exhibition also included the HKC Apex 27U160D, a 27-inch UHD RGB Mini LED monitor.

Compared to the HKC Apex 27U165D, which was previously shown during COMPUTEX, the new model offers a slightly lower refresh rate while maintaining its 4K resolution and RGB Mini LED panel technology. HKC has not yet released its complete specifications or pricing.

HKC’s latest announcements cover multiple segments of the display market, from creator-focused monitors to high-refresh-rate gaming displays and premium televisions.
