Keychron has officially opened pre-orders for the Nape Pro wireless trackball outside Asia, bringing its compact pointing device to more users after its initial introduction at CES 2026. The new trackball mouse is designed to complement Keychron’s wireless mechanical keyboards while offering an alternative to traditional mice for desktop and portable setups.
The Keychron Nape Pro starts at $89.99 and will be available in black and white color options. According to Keychron, pre-order units are expected to begin shipping in mid-August.

The Nape Pro features a compact trackball design built around a 25 mm resin ball positioned above a PixArt PAW3222 sensor. Unlike a conventional mouse that requires physical movement across a surface, the trackball allows users to control cursor movement by rotating the ball, making it suitable for smaller desks, travel setups, and workspaces with limited room.
For controls, the wireless trackball includes two primary click buttons and four additional buttons that can be customized through the Keychron Launcher web application. Users can assign different shortcuts and functions based on their workflow, including productivity tasks and daily navigation.

The Nape Pro offers multiple connection options, including Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity through a USB Type-A receiver. This allows users to switch between devices or choose a dedicated wireless connection depending on their setup.
Keychron has equipped the trackball with ZMK firmware, which focuses on wireless efficiency and customization. The device includes a 200 mAh battery, with the company claiming up to 50 hours of usage on a single charge.
