ACEMAGIC Launches F9A Mini AI Workstation with Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 and Oculink

ACEMAGIC has officially introduced the F9A, a compact AI workstation built for developers, content creators, engineers, and professionals who need desktop-level performance in a small form factor. Powered by AMD’s flagship Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 processor, the new mini workstation combines high-performance computing, AI acceleration, and modern connectivity inside a CNC-machined aluminum chassis with a volume of approximately two liters.

The F9A is designed for users running demanding AI workloads, creative applications, and professional software while keeping their workspace clean and organized. Despite its compact dimensions, the system offers features commonly found on larger desktop workstations, including Oculink expansion, dual 40 Gbps USB4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, and support for up to 128GB of LPDDR5X-8000 unified memory.

At the heart of the system is AMD’s Ryzen AI MAX+ 395, featuring 16 Zen 5 CPU cores and 32 threads, paired with integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics. AI processing is handled by AMD’s XDNA 2 Neural Processing Unit, capable of delivering up to 50 TOPS, while the complete platform reaches up to 126 TOPS of total AI computing performance. According to ACEMAGIC, the workstation can locally run large language models with up to 120 billion parameters, making it suitable for developers working with AI applications without depending entirely on cloud services.

Storage expansion is handled through dual PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 NVMe SSD slots, while the addition of an Oculink PCIe 4.0 x4 interface gives users access to desktop-class external GPU solutions. Compared to traditional USB-based eGPU connections, Oculink provides higher bandwidth, making it suitable for GPU-intensive workloads such as AI model inference, video rendering, engineering simulations, and high-end gaming when connected to a compatible graphics dock.

Connectivity is another area where the F9A is well-equipped. Two USB4 ports operating at 40 Gbps allow users to connect high-speed storage devices, docking stations, and multiple displays simultaneously. ACEMAGIC says the system supports up to four independent 8K displays, providing enough screen space for video editing, software development, financial analysis, and multitasking.

The workstation also includes a dedicated Windows Copilot button positioned on the front panel. With a single press, users can quickly access Microsoft’s AI assistant for document summaries, code generation, natural language searches, and other AI-assisted productivity tasks.

For remote meetings and voice-based AI applications, the F9A integrates a four-microphone far-field array with AI noise reduction and beamforming technology capable of capturing voices from up to three meters away. Dual built-in 2W speakers eliminate the need for separate desktop audio equipment, making the system suitable for minimalist home office setups.

Additional connectivity includes HDMI 2.1, dual 2.5GbE Ethernet ports, three USB-A 10 Gbps ports, an SD 4.0 card reader, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, supporting the latest networking standards for both office and home environments.

The F9A is housed inside a CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminum unibody chassis available in Silver and Space Gray finishes. An RGB lighting ring around the base offers multiple lighting effects, including static, breathing, rainbow, and music synchronization modes while also functioning as a power indicator.
