SignalRGB Builds RAM Machine Gaming PC Using 36 Decorative Memory Modules

SignalRGB has introduced an unusual custom gaming PC called the RAM Machine, a desktop that replaces the traditional chassis with dozens of memory modules and RGB lighting. Instead of using a standard PC case, the company built the system around 36 RAM modules, creating a design inspired by Valve’s Steam Machine.

The company explained that the hexagonal shape pays tribute to Valve’s compact Steam Machine concept. While the system looks like it is packed with memory, only a portion of the modules are functional. The remaining sticks are decorative and work together with 16 RGB LED strips to create synchronized lighting effects through SignalRGB’s software.

The lighting system extends across the decorative memory modules and the large cooling fan positioned at the bottom of the PC. Users can customize the RGB effects using SignalRGB’s software, allowing every illuminated component to stay synchronized with the rest of their setup.

The case features a removable enclosure with all four side panels detaching at the same time, allowing easy access to the internal hardware. Its open-frame design also puts the custom arrangement of the decorative RAM modules on display.

Although the RAM Machine focuses on its appearance, it is equipped with modern gaming hardware capable of handling today’s games and workloads.

Instead of offering the RAM Machine as a retail product, SignalRGB plans to give it away through a raffle. The project serves as a showcase for the company’s RGB synchronization software and highlights how custom PC builders can create unique systems using lighting and creative hardware layouts.
