GMKtec has officially announced the pre-launch promotion of its new EVO-X3 mini PC, a compact desktop system that was previously shown at an AMD event. The company is introducing the EVO-X3 as an AI-focused mini PC designed for users who need strong performance in a smaller desktop format.
The GMKtec EVO-X3 uses a vertical “blade” style design that separates it from many other mini PCs currently available. The system features an all-metal chassis, giving it a solid exterior while keeping the compact design suitable for desktop setups, workspaces, and home environments.
The mini PC is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, which combines high-performance computing with AI processing capabilities. The chip is aimed at handling tasks such as AI applications, productivity workloads, content creation, and other demanding software.

The memory configuration is one of the main points of the EVO-X3, as the support for up to 128GB of LPDDR5X-8000 RAM gives the system more flexibility for professional users and AI-based tasks. The dual M.2 SSD design also allows users to install more storage without relying only on external drives.
GMKtec is also preparing a flagship version of the EVO-X3 mini PC. This model will come with 4TB of built-in storage and include a Claw self-hosting gateway, adding extra functionality for users who want local hosting features.
The company has not shared the final pricing or launch date yet, but the EVO-X3 is expected to compete in the growing AI mini PC market with its AMD Ryzen AI platform, high memory capacity, and modern connectivity options.
