With the launch of Forza Horizon 6 getting closer, Microsoft and Playground Games have shared fresh details about performance targets, accessibility features, and player rewards. The update offers a clearer look at how the open-world racer will run across Xbox consoles, alongside incentives for long-time fans of the series.
On Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, the game will offer two display modes. Performance Mode targets 60 frames per second on both systems. Series X will use 4K output with dynamic upscaling, while Series S runs at 1080p with dynamic scaling to maintain frame consistency. Quality Mode lowers the frame rate to 30 FPS but increases image quality. Series X will deliver native 4K visuals, while Series S aims for 1440p with dynamic adjustments to maintain stable performance.

The studio is also expanding accessibility settings. Features such as AutoDrive, Proximity Radar, High Contrast mode, and multiple colorblind filters are included. Cut-scenes will support sign language through ASL and BSL interpreters. In addition, offline players can adjust game speed, making races more manageable when combined with difficulty settings. These additions are designed to make the experience more flexible for different skill levels and play styles.
Preloading is now available for those who have preordered the game or are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass. Downloads can be started through the Microsoft Store or the Xbox mobile app, ensuring the game is ready when it unlocks at launch.

Microsoft is also offering loyalty rewards tied to previous entries in the series. Players who have spent time in earlier titles will receive bonus cars after completing the opening sequence. Rewards include vehicles from Forza Motorsport, Forza Horizon 5, Forza Horizon 4, Forza Horizon 3, Forza Horizon 2, and the original Forza Horizon, giving longtime players a head start in building their garage.
With performance options confirmed and preloads underway, Forza Horizon 6 is preparing for launch with a focus on consistent gameplay across platforms and added value for returning players.
