Dreame Technology has introduced a new smart home control panel called the Dreame Smart Control Screen S6. The device is designed to act as a central hub for managing connected home devices while providing a combination of touch controls, physical input, and voice interaction.
The Smart Control Screen S6 is built around a 6-inch IPS display with an AF anti-fingerprint coating. The screen functions as the main interface for monitoring and controlling compatible smart home devices. Through the display, users can access connected appliances, adjust settings, and check the current status of devices across the home.
The system runs on the built-in MetaHome OS, which is designed to integrate with multiple products within the Dreame ecosystem. The operating system allows the control panel to connect with compatible smart devices and provide a unified interface for daily operations.
Connectivity support includes Zigbee 3.0 along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. These wireless standards allow the Smart Control Screen S6 to communicate with a variety of smart home products such as lighting systems, air conditioners, smart curtains, and other connected appliances. With these options, the panel can serve as a central point for controlling devices from different categories.
In addition to the touchscreen interface, Dreame has included a rotary knob on the front of the device. The knob allows users to quickly adjust settings such as air-conditioning temperature, lighting brightness, curtain positions, and music volume. This hardware control is intended to make common adjustments easier without navigating through on-screen menus.
The Smart Control Screen S6 also supports voice interaction through four integrated microphones. The multi-microphone setup is designed to capture voice commands from different directions within a room, allowing users to control devices through spoken instructions.
For installation, the device is designed to fit standard wall setups. Dreame states that the panel is compatible with a typical 86-type junction box, which allows it to replace traditional wall switches without requiring additional wall modifications. This design can simplify installation in existing homes.
With the Smart Control Screen S6, Dreame is expanding its smart home lineup by adding a dedicated wall-mounted control unit that combines display interaction, physical controls, and voice input for managing connected devices in one place.
