UGREEN, a global consumer electronics brand, has opened pre-orders in Europe for its latest Maxidok line of Thunderbolt 5 docking stations. The announcement, made on March 6, introduces a new range of docks designed to improve desktop connectivity, data transfer speeds, and workflow efficiency for users in professional and creative environments.
As laptops continue to become thinner and lighter, the number of built-in ports has decreased, creating a need for high-performance docking solutions. UGREEN’s Maxidok line, part of the company’s Revodok series, addresses this challenge with Thunderbolt 5 technology. The docks are built to handle high-bandwidth tasks, multi-display setups, and intensive workflows, eliminating common bottlenecks associated with older docking solutions.

The Maxidok range includes three models, each certified for Thunderbolt 5 to ensure stable compatibility with MacBooks and other high-end laptops. The flagship 17-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 Dock integrates 17 ports, supporting data, video, networking, storage, and power delivery. The dock delivers bandwidth up to 120 Gbps and includes a built-in M.2 SSD slot, allowing users to open and edit large 4K files directly without relying on slower external drives. The dock provides up to 240 W of total power, enabling simultaneous charging of laptops and mobile devices while driving external displays. Users can connect a single 8K display at 60 Hz or dual 6K displays on macOS, and up to three independent displays on Windows systems.

UGREEN also offers a 10-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 desktop hub, featuring dual Thunderbolt 5 ports, 140 W total power with up to 100 W for laptop charging, Gigabit Ethernet, and multi-display support. This model consolidates multiple essential ports into a single desktop solution, reducing the need for additional adapters.
For Mac mini users, UGREEN will release a dedicated 10-in-1 dock designed to fit flush with the Mac mini M4 chassis while maintaining proper airflow. It supports native dual extended displays on macOS and offers single 8K or dual 6K outputs without requiring additional drivers. The dock also includes M.2 SSD expansion, high-speed USB-A ports, SD/microSD 4.0 card readers, and a hybrid cooling system combining an aluminium heatsink with intelligent fan control.

By combining high-speed data transfer, multi-display performance, stable power delivery, and advanced thermal management, UGREEN positions the Maxidok line as a productivity tool for video editing, 3D rendering, creative production, and multi-screen workstations. The 17-in-1 and standard 10-in-1 docks are priced at €459.99/£419.99 and €299.99/£249.99, respectively, with pre-orders available now on UGREEN’s website and official sales starting March 24. The Mac mini dock is expected to launch in late April or early May.
