Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf Now Available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch

Wishfully Studios and Thunderful have released Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf across PC and consoles. The sequel is now available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch, priced at $19.99 / €19.99 / £16.99.

The follow-up expands on the original’s cinematic puzzle-platforming formula, continuing the story of Lana and her companion Mui on the planet Novo. As tensions rise among the planet’s tribes, the pair are drawn into a conflict shaped by power struggles and environmental change. The narrative once again unfolds without spoken dialogue, relying on animation, music, and environmental design to carry the emotional weight.

According to Creative Director Adam Stjärnljus, the team revisited ideas that could not be fully developed in the first game. The sequel nearly doubles the scope of its predecessor, introducing new regions including snowy mountain ranges, underwater areas, and forest communities. Players will encounter additional factions and creatures while learning more about the world and Mui’s origins.

Gameplay systems have also been expanded. Companion-based mechanics remain central, with puzzles designed around cooperation and physics-based interactions. Lana now has improved movement abilities, including wall jumps and more fluid traversal across varied terrain. Stealth sections and light action sequences return, blended into a six-to-eight-hour campaign built around exploration and environmental storytelling.

A Supporter Pack is available for PC and PlayStation 5, offering a digital art book and the Novo Language Companion, a guide to the game’s fictional language. PC players also receive wallpapers and background artwork. A demo launched today on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, while demos remain accessible on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.

Early reviews have been positive. Nintendo Life awarded the title a 9/10, while Polygon and GAMINGbible also praised the sequel’s presentation and pacing.

Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf supports a broad list of languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Turkish, Ukrainian, Swedish, and more, ensuring accessibility across regions.
