Pulsar ZywOo The Chosen Mouse Gen 2 Limited Edition Pink has been officially announced by Pulsar Gaming Gears in collaboration with Prodigy SEG. The release follows a major milestone in the career of Mathieu Herbaut, known globally as ZywOo, who was recently crowned the world’s No.1 Counter-Strike player for a fourth time. With this achievement, he becomes the most decorated individual in the game’s history, holding a record 30 HLTV MVP medals. He secured recent championship victories at IEM Kraków 2026 and PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, adding further weight to the timing of this limited edition release.
The Gen 2 model builds on the first version with refinements based on direct competitive feedback. Pulsar states that the development followed its internal eS (eSports standard), focusing on shape accuracy, weight balance, and click consistency. The mouse has been co-designed with ZywOo and targets palm grip users. It will be available in two sizes, a 59-gram Mini version and a 62-gram Medium version, offering options for different hand sizes while maintaining a lightweight profile suited for professional-level play.
According to ZywOo, the pink edition reflects his personal identity, but performance remains the priority. He noted that the updated version feels more precise and stable during high-pressure moments on stage. Pulsar’s Creative Director Jake Lee echoed similar sentiments, explaining that the second generation includes refinements to shape, internal tuning, and click response rather than being limited to cosmetic adjustments. The pink and yellow color scheme is intended as a tribute to ZywOo’s career accomplishments.
One of the main hardware additions is the new Link 8K Dongle. The dongle functions as an active controller, allowing users to adjust DPI, polling rate, and onboard profiles directly through physical buttons. This design removes the need to access software during gameplay sessions. The 8K polling rate capability is aimed at reducing input latency for competitive players who demand consistent tracking and response.
The mouse also incorporates Pulsar Optical Switches rated for 100 million clicks. These switches are engineered to eliminate debounce delay and minimize the risk of double-clicking issues associated with traditional mechanical switches. The company claims that this results in faster actuation and improved reliability over extended use.
