WLMouse has introduced the new Ying Magnesium gaming mouse, joining the growing trend of lightweight wireless mice using premium materials. This series follows the Ying Carbon Fiber model launched in 2025, but replaces the carbon fiber shell with a magnesium alloy construction while maintaining the same popular shape inspired by the Endgame Gear OP1. The new model is designed for competitive gaming, offering a balance of low weight, durability, and high-performance components.
The Ying Magnesium features Omron Optical switches, which were used in the previous version, and adds an option for TTC Nihil Transparent Black Dot switches for players who prefer a slightly heavier click feel. The mouse is equipped with the Nordic 52840 MCU and the PixArt PAW3950 sensor, supporting up to an 8 kHz polling rate and wireless connectivity, providing fast and precise tracking. WLMouse lists the weight of the Ying Magnesium at just 47 grams, making it suitable for fast-paced gaming and esports use.

The magnesium shell is offered in seven colorways, including classic silver, black, and white, as well as more unique designs such as baby blue, bright red Nekko patterns, a white watercolor koi theme, and a deep purple variant. Pricing has not been announced yet, but the full launch is expected on March 10, 2026. With the Ying Magnesium, WLMouse expands its range of lightweight wireless mice that combine modern sensors, high-quality materials, and competitive performance, providing players with more options for precision-focused gaming.
