FSP, a leading global power supply manufacturer, has introduced its new MEGA GM Series of fully modular power supplies, available in 850 W, 1000 W, and 1200 W models. Aimed at gamers, content creators, and high-performance PC users, the MEGA GM Series combines efficient energy delivery, advanced voltage control, and next-generation compatibility for demanding systems.
The MEGA GM Series is certified with both 80 Plus Gold and Cybenetics A++ ratings, offering more than 90% efficiency at typical loads. This dual certification reduces energy loss, lowers heat output, and supports quieter operation under a range of workloads. By maintaining stable power delivery, these units help extend the lifespan of connected components.
Next-generation graphics card support is a key feature of the MEGA GM Series. Each unit includes a native PCIe 12V-2×6 connector and multiple PCIe 8-pin connectors, ensuring full compatibility with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series and AMD Radeon cards. The power supplies are capable of handling up to 200% power excursions, providing consistent performance during high-demand gaming or rendering sessions.
FSP’s proprietary MTLC (Micro Tolerance Load Control) design allows voltage regulation within ±1%, exceeding ATX 3.1 specifications. This technology ensures stable power delivery to CPUs and GPUs, improving system reliability and overall efficiency. The design also reduces stress on components during intensive workloads.
In terms of cooling, the MEGA GM Series uses a 135 mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing fan with Eco semi-fanless operation. The units remain quiet below 15 dB(A) under light loads and ramp up gradually under heavy use. Measuring just 150 × 150 × 86 mm, these power supplies fit compact PC cases without compromising airflow or stability.
The fully modular cable design simplifies installation and enhances airflow, while a comprehensive set of safety protections—including OCP, OVP, SCP, OPP, UVP, OTP, SIP, and NLO—ensures system protection under abnormal conditions. Additional Off-Wet, Off-Dust, and Off-Stain conformal coatings provide increased resistance to moisture, dust, and corrosion, further supporting long-term reliability.
The FSP MEGA GM Series will be available worldwide starting January 2026 through authorized distributors and retailers. Suggested retail prices are $179 for the 850 W model, $199 for the 1000 W, and $229 for the 1200 W version.
