MAXSUN has officially launched the MS-Terminator B850M PRO II WIFI7 motherboard, with the product now listed on the company’s website. The new motherboard is positioned as a refreshed version of the existing Terminator B850M PRO DARK WIFI, keeping the same overall platform while introducing several hardware updates.
MAXSUN has updated the motherboard’s wireless connectivity by replacing the MediaTek MT7922 with the newer MediaTek MT7925 module. The upgrade adds Wi-Fi 7 support with 160MHz channel bandwidth, enabling faster wireless speeds and more stable performance on supported networks. On the wired side, there are no changes, as the board continues to rely on a 2.5GbE Ethernet controller for LAN connectivity.

Storage support has also been revised. While the motherboard still offers three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, the lane configuration has been improved. The M.2 slots now operate at x4 lanes instead of x2, enabling PCIe 4.0 SSDs to utilize their full bandwidth. This change is aimed at users who rely on high-speed NVMe storage for gaming, content creation, or general system responsiveness.
The visual design has seen a small adjustment as well. MAXSUN has modified the angled decorative pattern on the lower section of the board to match the direction used on the upper portion, creating a more consistent look without changing the overall layout.

In terms of core specifications, the MS-Terminator B850M PRO II WIFI7 remains consistent with its predecessor. It uses an 8-layer PCB and a 12+2+1 phase power delivery system. Memory support includes DDR5 overclocking up to 9000MT/s. Expansion options include two PCIe slots, along with front and rear 10Gbps USB-C ports for faster peripheral connectivity.
With these updates, MAXSUN’s latest B850 motherboard focuses on improved wireless and storage performance while maintaining the same feature set as the earlier model.
