GTBox T1 Mini PC Launches with AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS and Built-In Stereo Speakers

With the steady rise of compact desktops powered by AMD processors, the mini PC market has grown more diverse than ever. In a segment where most designs follow a familiar compact-box layout, GTBox is taking a different route with its latest model, the GTBox T1 Mini PC. The company’s new release combines a powerful AMD platform with an unusual design that resembles a navy-blue Bluetooth speaker.

The GTBox T1 isn’t just styled like a speaker for visual appeal—it actually includes a built-in dual-speaker setup rated at 5 watts each. According to GTBox, this configuration offers accurate sound positioning and a wide sound field, aiming to deliver an immersive experience for users who prefer an all-in-one desktop solution. While the audio performance may not replace dedicated speakers, it adds convenience for everyday use such as video calls, background music, podcasts, or video streaming.

Under the fabric-covered chassis, the GTBox T1 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor paired with Radeon 780M graphics, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1 TB PCIe SSD. This setup provides solid performance for general computing, multitasking, and even light gaming or creative workloads. The choice of AMD’s latest mobile platform allows for efficient power usage while keeping thermals in check through a compact active cooling system.

Port selection is another strong point of the T1. The rear panel houses three USB 3.2 ports, one USB 2.0, a USB4 port, a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port, and display outputs including DisplayPort 2.0 and HDMI 2.1. The inclusion of USB4 adds high-speed data transfer and external GPU support, expanding the device’s versatility. The placement of all ports at the rear helps maintain a clean and minimalist look when placed on a desk.

Wireless connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6, ensuring compatibility with modern peripherals and reliable network performance. Cooling is managed by a single fan that vents air through the back panel. A subtle LED ring on the top of the device can be customized in green, blue, or yellow, and the GTBox logo also features adjustable backlighting, giving the system a modest touch of personalization without being flashy.

Beyond its technical specifications, the GTBox T1 aims to blend into home or office environments where users prefer unobtrusive hardware. The built-in microphones allow for quick conference calls or online meetings without the need for external accessories. This could make the T1 an appealing option for compact workstations, minimalist setups, or shared spaces.

The GTBox T1 Mini PC is currently available for pre-order at $549.99, with the expected retail price set at $599.99. With its speaker-inspired design and strong internal hardware, GTBox’s latest entry brings a fresh concept to the mini PC market—one that prioritizes practicality, clean aesthetics, and integrated features in a single device.
