Battlefield 6 Season 1 Post-Launch Content Roadmap Announced

Electronic Arts has confirmed the content roadmap for Battlefield 6, with the game set to launch on October 10, 2025. The company announced that the first season of post-launch content will begin on October 28, 2025, and will include monthly free updates. According to EA, each season will last three months and deliver new maps, modes, vehicles, weapons, and attachments. The new content will also be available in the Battlefield Portal Builder Tool, allowing players to use the additions in custom game experiences.

Season 1 is divided into three phases, beginning with Rogue Ops, followed by California Resistance, and concluding with Winter Offensive.

Rogue Ops – October 28

  • Blackwell Fields (Map): Large-scale combat in a desert oil field.
  • Strikepoint (Mode): 4v4 tactical rounds with single-life gameplay.
  • APC Traverser Mark 2 (Vehicle): Infantry transport and support vehicle.
  • New Weapons:
    • SOR-300C Carbine Rifle
    • Mini Fix Sniper Rifle
    • GGH-22 Sidearm
  • Attachments: Rail Cover and LPVO Optic

California Resistance – November 18

  • Eastwood (Map): Suburban setting featuring land vehicles and helicopters.
  • Sabotage (Mode): 8v8 round-based destruction objective mode.
  • Feature: Battle Pickups return, offering powerful limited-use weapons.
  • New Weapons:
    • DB-12 Shotgun
    • M327 Trait Revolver
  • Attachment: Slim Handstop Grip

Winter Offensive – December 9

  • Ice Lock Empire State (Map Update): Snow-covered version of Brooklyn with environmental hazards.
  • Ice Lock (Event): A limited-time mode featuring the Freeze gameplay modifier.
  • New Weapon: Ice Climbing Axe melee tool.


Battlefield 6 will be available in both Standard Edition and Phantom Edition. The Phantom Edition includes soldier skins, weapon packages, XP boosts, and other digital extras. Both editions come with the Tombstone Pack, which features a skin and XP boost set. Subscribers to EA Play Pro on PC will receive access to the Phantom Edition on launch day.

Battlefield 6 will receive regular monthly free content updates beginning October 28, 2025, ensuring a steady stream of new maps, modes, and gear for players. EA’s roadmap for Season 1 highlights its commitment to long-term support, setting the stage for ongoing updates across platforms.
