Origin Code has introduced the VORTEX DDR5, the first memory module to feature an integrated triple-fan active cooling system. The launch marks the company’s entry into the high-performance DDR5 memory segment, targeting systems built for heavy workloads, advanced gaming, and professional applications.

The modules are built from aluminium alloy for structural strength and effective heat transfer. A polished, mirror-like surface gives the VORTEX DDR5 a modern appearance, designed to integrate seamlessly into high-end desktops, workstations, and gaming PCs.

The most distinctive element of the VORTEX DDR5 is its thermal solution. The memory modules integrate a triple 40 mm x 40 mm x 20 mm fan system with dual-ball bearings. Together, the fans deliver 22.5 CFM of airflow, enhancing heat dissipation during demanding tasks. The dual-ball bearing design reduces wear, contributing to long-term durability and quieter operation.

Supporting the fans is Origin Code’s Scale Cut Cooling Fin structure, a patented design built with ultra-thin 0.75 mm fins and beveled recesses. The company reports that this system improves thermal efficiency by up to 39.8 percent, ensuring that airflow is directed to critical areas where heat buildup is most likely to occur.

With large memory capacities and advanced cooling, the VORTEX DDR5 is positioned for use in data-intensive workloads. These include AI model training, 3D rendering, video production, and gaming at competitive levels where stability and performance are critical.
Origin Code stated that detailed information on pricing and retail availability will be released in mid-October. Additional updates regarding the company’s upcoming products are also expected at that time.
