v-color and GIGABYTE Launch XFinity+ DDR5 Overclocking Memory with OLED Display

v-color Technology Inc., in collaboration with GIGABYTE Technology, has introduced XFinity+, the world’s first DDR5 memory module featuring a built-in OLED display. Announced during Computex 2025, the new memory is designed for enthusiasts, overclockers, and professionals who require real-time system monitoring alongside high-speed performance.

The OLED panel is integrated directly onto the memory module and does not require additional cables or connectors. It is capable of showing diagnostic data during the Power-On Self-Test (POST) process as well as during full system operation. Displayed parameters include:

  • Memory profile (Intel/AMD)
  • Module capacity
  • Frequency
  • Timings
  • Voltage
  • Temperature

This enables users to access performance data instantly without relying on third-party monitoring tools.

During validation tests, the XFinity+ OLED DDR5 memory reached DDR5-9000 MT/s, paired with the Intel Z890 AORUS MASTER and AMD X870E AORUS MASTER X3D ICE motherboards. The modules are available in both UDIMM and CUDIMM configurations.

The design is covered by patent M664715, ensuring protection of the technology. In addition to the OLED functionality, the modules feature customizable ARGB lighting effects, offering system-responsive illumination and gradient transitions.

Mass production of XFinity+ is set to begin in Q3 2025. The first retail launch will be through Newegg, followed by wider distribution via v-color’s official store, Amazon, and authorized global partners.

The DDR5-9000 milestone was achieved with GIGABYTE’s X870E AORUS X3D motherboard, which introduces several hardware and firmware technologies designed for high-frequency stability:

  • X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 – dynamic optimization for DDR5 performance.
  • D5 Bionic Corsa Technology – stability improvements through hardware-software integration.
  • Advanced PCB Design – server-grade 8-layer PCB with Back Drilling, Shielded Memory Routing, and Daisy-Chained architecture to maintain clean signaling.

These features enable stable operation at extreme memory speeds, making the platform suitable for gaming, overclocking, and data-intensive workloads.
