Logitech MX Master 4 Details Leak Ahead of September Launch

Details of the upcoming Logitech MX Master 4 have surfaced online, providing the first complete look at the next-generation productivity mouse before its official announcement. According to a report from WinFuture.de, the mouse will bring new input features, hardware upgrades, and a confirmed launch window of September 30 in Europe, priced at €130. U.S. pricing is expected to align at around $130.

One of the new highlights is the Actions Ring, located on the thumb rest. Integrated with the updated Logitech Options software, this input allows for customizable shortcuts and actions, giving users more flexibility in their workflow. While the full range of functions remains undisclosed, the Actions Ring is positioned as one of the major changes in this generation.

Another feature revealed in the leak is Haptic Sense, which introduces vibration feedback to the thumb area. This is designed to interact with system notifications, application shortcuts, and other actions. The exact user benefits are not yet clear, but this marks the first time haptic feedback has appeared in the MX Master series.

The MX Master 4 will also feature an 8000 DPI Darkfield sensor, improving precision across different surfaces. As with previous models, the mouse will support Bluetooth and ship with a Logi Bolt receiver, allowing pairing with multiple devices and seamless switching between them.

In terms of design, the mouse keeps the familiar ergonomic shape, weighs 150 grams, and will be available in graphite and light grey. Power is handled by a 500 mAh battery, with the leak claiming up to 70 days of use per charge.

While Logitech has yet to officially confirm these details, the reported specifications and pricing suggest the MX Master 4 will continue the series’ focus on performance and flexibility. An official announcement is expected before the end of September, in line with the leaked release date.
