AYANEO officially launched its new sub-brand KONKR during a live online event. The first product under this brand is the KONKR Pocket FIT, an Android handheld system developed over the past year. The release marks KONKR’s entry into the global handheld gaming market, aiming to deliver strong performance in a compact, affordable design.
KONKR Pocket FIT Hardware and Display
The KONKR Pocket FIT is built on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3x Gen 3 gaming platform, offering up to 20 W peak performance for mobile and cloud gaming. It introduces a 6-inch 1920×1080 LCD screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate, making it the first Android handheld to feature such a high refresh panel. The display supports a wide color range, anti-glare protection, and slim bezels for an immersive viewing experience.
To handle heat during demanding sessions, the device uses a thermal system that includes a copper heatsink, cooling fins, and an active fan. Power is supplied by a high-capacity 8000 mAh battery with PD fast charging support, allowing extended playtime with shorter charging cycles.
Controls, Features, and Software
The KONKR Pocket FIT is equipped with Hall-effect joysticks and triggers for precise input, along with an Android-first dual-mode trigger lock for flexible control styles. The ABXY buttons feature soft conductive rubber, while the D-pad and shoulder buttons are tuned for responsive gameplay. The handheld also includes dual X-axis linear motors for vibration feedback across multiple game genres.
Connectivity options include USB-C, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, MicroSD expansion, stereo speakers, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. On the software side, KONKR integrates a custom Android system tailored for handheld gaming. It supports button remapping, streaming optimization, device spoofing for enhanced settings in certain titles, and retro game management with automatic organization.
First Showcase at ChinaJoy 2025
The KONKR Pocket FIT will make its first public appearance at ChinaJoy 2025 in Shanghai, starting August 1, at the Snapdragon booth (N5-01). It will be presented alongside AYANEO’s Pocket DS and Pocket S2 devices.
With this launch, AYANEO expands its portfolio by introducing KONKR as a dedicated brand for Android handhelds, combining performance hardware with accessibility for a wide gaming audience.
