Epic Games Store has launched its Summer Sale for 2025, running from July 17 to July 31. The sale includes major discounts across a wide range of Games, but the highlight for many will be the free offering of Sid Meier’s Civilization VI Platinum Edition.
The Platinum Edition includes the base game, six downloadable content packs, and the two main expansions, Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm. This bundle gives players access to all the content released for Civilization VI since its original launch. The free offer is available from today and will remain claimable until July 24 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM BST. Once added to a user’s Epic Games account, it will stay in their library permanently.

Alongside the free title, the Summer Sale brings discounts to several high-profile games. Red Dead Redemption 2 is available at 75% off, reducing the price significantly for one of Rockstar’s best-selling titles. Cyberpunk 2077 is discounted by 60% following recent updates from CD Projekt RED, which introduced new features and improvements to the game.
The sale also includes deals on newer releases. Blades of Fire, released earlier this year, is currently 20% off. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, another 2025 title, is listed with a 10% discount. These offers provide a chance to pick up recent games at a lower price point.
