AYANEO has officially entered the Android gaming market with the debut of its new Gaming Tablet at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025 in San Francisco on March 17. The company is the first to integrate Qualcomm’s newly released Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 gaming platform into a handheld device, aiming to deliver high-end performance tailored for mobile gamers.
Performance and Hardware Upgrades
The AYANEO Gaming Pad features a significant leap in processing power, boasting a 30% increase in CPU performance and a 28% boost in GPU capabilities over the previous generation. The device is equipped with an 8.3-inch 1440p LCD display, supporting a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 3:2 aspect ratio, ensuring smooth visuals and an optimized viewing experience for gaming.

To address thermal management, AYANEO has incorporated an active cooling system with a blower-type fan, which is expected to maintain stable performance during extended gaming sessions. The design utilizes a CNC-machined all-metal frame, giving it a premium build, while the transparent glass back cover, featured in the “Explorer Edition,” provides a modern aesthetic appeal.
Camera and Multimedia Features
Unlike typical gaming tablets, the AYANEO Gaming Tablet includes a robust camera setup. It houses a 5 MP front-facing camera designed for streaming and video calls, while the rear configuration consists of a 50 MP primary camera and a 13 MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view. This combination positions the Gaming Pad beyond just a gaming device, catering to content creators and mobile photographers.

Audio performance is another key highlight, as AYANEO has implemented quad-chamber speakers, aiming to deliver an immersive spatial audio experience. The device also features a six-axis gyroscope, enhancing motion control support for compatible games.
Connectivity and Ecosystem Expansion
AYANEO has kept future-proofing in mind with the inclusion of Wi-Fi 7, allowing for faster network speeds and improved wireless performance. The device supports external peripherals such as controllers, keyboards, and mice, broadening its functionality across various gaming scenarios.
While AYANEO is the first to market with the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 chipset, OneXPlayer has also announced its own gaming handheld, the ONEXSUGAR SUGAR 1, featuring the same platform. This signals increasing competition in the Android-based handheld gaming sector.
Availability and Future Announcements
Despite the official unveiling, AYANEO has yet to disclose details on pricing, availability, and the full technical specifications. More information is expected in the coming weeks as the company finalizes its launch strategy. With the AYANEO Gaming Tablet combination of high-performance hardware, advanced connectivity, and a premium build, AYANEO is positioning itself as a strong contender in the growing handheld gaming market.
