1STPLAYER has launched the NEO108 series tri-mode mechanical keyboard, adding a full-size model to its growing range of desktop peripherals. The NEO108 is available in two main versions, differentiated by switch type and keycap design. The Purple Star switch model is priced at 239 yuan, which converts to roughly USD 33, while the Cranberry switch version is listed at 299 yuan, or about USD 41, based on current exchange rates.
The NEO108 uses a full-layout design aimed at users who require a complete key set for work and gaming. It supports tri-mode connectivity, allowing operation through a wired connection, 2.4GHz wireless, or Bluetooth. On the design side, the keyboard features three-slit multi-color side light strips on both sides of the frame. A widened horizontal scroll wheel is placed on the upper-right corner, offering quick access to volume or custom controls. The bottom of the keyboard includes a two-stage adjustable kickstand to support different typing angles.
Internally, the NEO108 adopts a gasket pad fixing structure. This setup integrates a single-button slotted PCB, a PC positioning plate, and a five-layer internal filling design intended to improve typing consistency and reduce vibration. The keyboard supports hot-swappable switches, allowing users to change switches without soldering. RGB backlighting is also included and works alongside the side light strips.
1STPLAYER is offering exclusive switches with the NEO108 lineup. The Purple Star switch version comes with PBT keycaps and is available in Midnight Blue and Polar Blue color options. The Cranberry switch variant uses PBT five-sided dye-sublimated keycaps combined with PC transparent keycaps and is offered in Star Trek and Star Purple finishes.
The keyboard is powered by a built-in 8000mAh battery. According to 1STPLAYER, the NEO108 can deliver approximately 30 to 48 days of wireless use with lighting disabled, depending on usage conditions.
