Zephyr, a Chinese graphics card manufacturer, has revealed a new GPU design that brings back the aesthetics of AMD’s Radeon Vega VII. The company shared images of the upcoming card on its official Bilibili channel, showing a cooling solution and shroud design that closely follows the look of AMD’s former flagship.
The card features a triple-fan cooling system using Zephyr’s self-developed 102mm double ball bearing fans. These fans are designed with a ring structure and more curved blades to improve airflow and maintain lower noise during operation. The overall shroud retains a clean grey finish, which is consistent with the standard Vega VII color scheme.
A small red branding mark is visible on the top-right corner of the shroud, placed in the same location where AMD’s Radeon branding appeared on the Vega VII. Zephyr describes the design as paying tribute to earlier GPU designs while updating the internal hardware for modern performance.
At this stage, Zephyr has not disclosed the GPU model or technical specifications. The manufacturer has not confirmed whether the card uses AMD or NVIDIA architecture. However, based on the external design similarities, it is expected to use AMD hardware from the current generation. It is not expected to be based on RDNA 4 series GPUs, as Zephyr’s product releases tend to follow after the initial launch window. It is more likely to be part of the RX 7000 series.
The company has also confirmed that the card will only be available in grey at launch. AMD previously offered Vega VII in both grey and a limited red edition, but there is no word yet on whether Zephyr plans to release additional color variants.
Pricing and availability details have not been announced. More information about the GPU’s specifications and launch timeline is expected in upcoming updates from Zephyr.
