YUNZII has officially announced the QL108, a retro-style mechanical keyboard that takes design inspiration from traditional typewriters. The keyboard features round keycaps with reflective electroplated sides and translucent fronts, creating a vintage look while maintaining the features expected from a modern mechanical keyboard.

The QL108 adopts a 108-key ANSI layout, offering a complete key set for productivity and gaming. Its construction includes a metal exterior, a gasket-mounted design, and an internal EVA foam layer, aimed at improving structural stability and typing comfort. The keyboard supports both three-pin and five-pin hot-swappable switches, enabling users to replace switches without soldering.

Additional features include a south-facing RGB LED backlight system for customizable lighting effects and a 1000Hz report rate, ensuring responsive input across various tasks.

YUNZII equips the QL108 with black or white translucent POM switches. These switches provide a total travel distance of 3.9±0.4mm, an actuation point of 2.2±0.4mm, and an actuation force of 43±20gf. The bottom-out force is rated at 60±20gf. Each switch comes pre-lubricated, reducing friction and enhancing keypress smoothness out of the box.
The YUNZII QL108 mechanical keyboard is priced at US$64.99, reduced from its original retail price of US$139. The model is available through YUNZII’s official sales channels.
