Waizowl has officially released its new gaming and esports mouse, the Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition, built around SPARK Microsystems’ ultra-wideband (UWB) platform. This release makes Waizowl one of the first manufacturers to fully adopt UWB connectivity in a gaming mouse, moving away from the standard Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi solutions commonly seen in the market.
The Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition arrives shortly after ELECOM introduced its VM800 mouse, which also featured UWB. With these back-to-back launches, UWB is starting to emerge as a technology that peripheral makers are looking to integrate into competitive gaming gear.

From a design perspective, the Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition features a flat-back, symmetrical, and ergonomic form factor aimed at medium to large hand sizes. The shape is compatible with multiple grip styles, ensuring flexibility for different players. The mouse is coated in Waizowl’s Light Feather III finish, designed for durability and grip comfort, and it weighs only 60 ± 2 grams, placing it within the ultralight category preferred by many esports players.
Internally, the device is equipped with a Surpass master control processor and a PixArt PAW3950 HAWKEYE custom sensor. This sensor enables a high-performance tracking system supported by third-generation optical micro switches and a TTC silver wheel encoder for long-term reliability.

In terms of connectivity, users can switch between wired and wireless modes. The mouse includes a USB-C magnetic cable for wired use, while its wireless mode relies entirely on UWB. When operating wirelessly, the Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition supports an 8KHz polling rate, providing responsive input performance. It also features a scanning rate of up to 20,000 frames per second, aligning with the requirements of high-speed competitive gaming.
The UWB technology inside the Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition operates across the 3.1–10.6 GHz frequency band with a bandwidth of up to 500 MHz. This design offers greater resistance to interference compared to conventional wireless solutions, while its power-efficient PWM scheduling helps reduce overall energy consumption.

The Waizowl Cloud Ultra Nebula Edition is currently available through the company’s official website. The mouse is priced at $110.99, positioning it within the premium gaming mouse segment.
With the adoption of UWB, Waizowl is contributing to the broader industry movement toward alternative wireless standards that aim to deliver both performance and efficiency. As more companies experiment with the technology, UWB may become a stronger contender in the wireless gaming peripheral market.
