Paradox Interactive has announced that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will officially release on October 21, 2025. The long-awaited sequel to the 2004 cult classic brings players back into the dark, supernatural world of modern Seattle, where Kindred society faces new dangers and political tensions.
At launch, players will be able to choose from several clans, including the newly revealed Lasombra and Toreador. The Lasombra are ambitious manipulators with ties to shadow-based powers, while the Toreador embody allure and artistry, offering a different style of abilities and roleplay. In addition to Phyre, the game’s main character, players will also experience parts of the story as Fabien, a mysterious Malkavian detective who resides within Phyre’s mind. This unique dual perspective expands the narrative and ties directly into the central murder mystery that threatens to reshape the city’s vampire hierarchy.
Pre-orders for Bloodlines 2 are now open across multiple platforms, including Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The standard edition is priced at $59.99 in the United States, £49.99 in the United Kingdom, and €59.99 across Europe. As a pre-order incentive, players will receive the “Bloodlines Nostalgia Jukebox,” a Haven decoration that features a curated playlist of in-game tracks composed by Rik Schaffer, who also scored the original Bloodlines.

In addition to the standard edition, two special editions will be available at launch. The Deluxe Edition includes the “Santa Monica Memories” Cosmetic Pack, a set of themed decor items inspired by the first Bloodlines, allowing players to personalize Phyre’s apartment. The Premium Edition features both the “Santa Monica Memories” Cosmetic Pack and the “Shadows & Silk” Clan Pack. This add-on provides access to Lasombra and Toreador as playable clans for Phyre, each offering unique powers, distinct playstyles, and exclusive outfits.
With its October release date set, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 aims to deliver a story-driven role-playing experience that combines immersive narrative with clan-based abilities. The game’s mix of new characters, returning influences, and expanded customization options highlights Paradox Interactive’s push to modernize the franchise while retaining its roots.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be available worldwide on October 21, 2025, for PC and current-generation consoles.
