THQ Nordic concluded its Digital Showcase 2025 with a wide range of announcements covering new titles, remasters, and updates to well-known franchises. The full presentation is available on demand across official channels, and a Steam sale is running from August 1–8 with discounts of up to 80% on selected games.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide
Developed by Purple Lamp, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is a new 3D platforming adventure set in Bikini Bottom. Players take control of SpongeBob and Patrick as they face supernatural threats caused by the clash between the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune. The game is confirmed for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Racing Games Return: Wreckreation and Wreckfest 2


- Three Fields Entertainment announced Wreckreation, an open-world racing sandbox covering 400 km² where players can create tracks, design stunts, customize vehicles, and control in-game conditions.
- Bugbear also revealed Wreckfest 2, a full-contact racing sequel rebuilt with an overhauled physics engine, enhanced destruction mechanics, and an adaptive career mode. The game will support Early Access with mod support and new multiplayer features.
RPGs and Classic Revivals




- Titan Quest II has launched in Early Access, taking players back to ancient Greece with expanded mastery-based class systems and mythological enemies.
- Sacred 2 Remaster updates the classic RPG with enhanced visuals, modern controller support, and all expansions included.
Fans of simulation saw the announcement of The Guild: Europa 1410, a revival of the medieval dynasty series with political systems, multiplayer, and expanded professions. - Gothic 1 Remake also returned with updated visuals, refined combat, and expanded questlines, staying true to the original’s gritty world.
New Projects and Originals
The showcase also introduced several original games.



- The Eternal Life of Goldman: a hand-animated 2D platformer built around myths and dark fairytales.
- REANIMAL: a co-op horror adventure from the creators of Little Nightmares, focusing on survival and exploration.
- Fatekeeper: a first-person action RPG that blends melee combat and spellcasting with player-driven progression.
Darksiders 4 Confirmed
The showcase concluded with the announcement of Darksiders 4. The next entry in the series will return to third-person gameplay, with players once again stepping into the role of one of the Four Horsemen. While no release date was confirmed, the teaser trailer hinted at fast-paced combat, exploration, and large-scale battles.
