Thermalright Unveils HR-10 2280 PRO Digital SSD Cooler with ARGB Monitoring Display

Thermalright has expanded its cooling product lineup with the launch of the HR-10 2280 PRO Digital, a new active M.2 SSD cooler equipped with a built-in ARGB digital display. This cooler is designed to address the increasing thermal demands of high-performance NVMe SSDs while offering real-time monitoring capabilities directly on the heatsink.

The HR-10 2280 PRO Digital stands out with its 51mm-tall design and robust construction. It uses four 5mm-thick copper heat pipes to draw heat away from the SSD and dissipate it efficiently through the integrated fin stack. A 3010 high-speed fan, capable of spinning between 3500 and 6500 RPM, is mounted to provide direct airflow over the heatsink, improving thermal performance during sustained transfers and heavy workloads.

Thermalright has also included its Limin Extreme Odyssey II thermal pad, a high-performance thermal interface material with a rated conductivity of 14.8 W/m·K. This pad ensures better contact between the SSD and the heatsink base, which is made of stainless steel, further improving heat transfer and overall cooling efficiency.

The HR-10 2280 PRO Digital includes a segment code ARGB display placed above the M.2 slot. This screen shows live data for four key SSD parameters: temperature, storage usage, sequential read speed, and sequential write speed. Users can monitor and customize these metrics through the Limin TRCC software, which provides real-time tracking and configuration options.

The digital display not only enhances usability but also adds a practical visual element to the PC build. By providing direct feedback on SSD activity, users can stay informed of drive health and performance without relying solely on software dashboards.

The HR-10 2280 PRO Digital is built for standard 2280-sized M.2 NVMe SSDs and is compatible with most ATX and microATX motherboards. Its design allows for installation in systems with enough clearance around the M.2 slot, though users with compact builds should verify spacing before installation.

This release comes at a time when SSD performance is reaching new levels, and managing heat output is more important than ever. With many drives capable of PCIe Gen4 and even Gen5 speeds, thermal throttling can become a bottleneck without proper cooling. The HR-10 2280 PRO Digital addresses this by combining active cooling with real-time diagnostics in a single unit.

Thermalright has not yet announced global availability or pricing, but the HR-10 2280 PRO Digital is expected to appeal to PC enthusiasts, gamers, and professionals looking to maintain optimal SSD performance under load.
